Carrier Transport

Milliseconds make the difference. Today's application requirements and IP transport needs clearly show the benefit in next-hop connections to the Asia-Pacific points of presence. While these connections are traditionally costly, they are still an important part of any carrier or hi-cap network topology. Pricing and physical access have made the addition of redundant Oceanic crossing routes prohibitive.

Digital West solves the access and latency issues with its Colocation and Carrier Transport services. Our hardened Data Center brings all three of the major Cable Landing Stations (CLS) on the Central Coast within reach, connecting the Pacific Rim and Southern Pacific countries and Hawaii to the U.S. mainland.

We provide a variety of transport solutions from the CLS to our Data Center and beyond with end-to-end solutions to any of the Digital West POPs. Transport wavelengths are delivered as LAN PHY, WAN PHY 10G or OC-192, but other options and sizes are available. Diverse routes are available for most segment legs, as well as multiple CLS connections for true Trans-Pacific redundancy.
