How do I send e-mail from my website?
If you are using Microsoft FrontPage to develop your website, then you have access to its form handlers which include options to email results. If you are using ASP to create you site, then you will want to use either CDONTS or aspQMail/AspMail (http://www.serverobjects.com/comp/aspmail.htm).

How do I manage the POP boxes and aliases for my domain?
As the admin, you can add/modify/delete/etc. all the POP accounts that you have under your domain. You can add aliases as well, change passwords, whatever.
The Domain Admin interface is located at: http://login.digitalwest.net/domain/
Individual users can login to administer their own accounts at: http://login.digitalwest.net/
Their usernames are their full e-mail addresses, i.e. jdoe@yourdomain.com and their existing passwords.
You (and each user) can log in and enable SpamAssasin and set a "sensitivity" level for when it should label an e-mail SPAM or not. By doing this, SpamAssassin will scan each message for key words, key signals (like ALL CAPS WRITING or "Click here" buttons) and, if the message scores high enough, it will label it [SPAM] and add that to the Subject line. You can then setup a Message Rule in your e-mail program to take any e-mails with [SPAM] in the subject and just throw them in the trash.
Users can also change their passwords, setup Forwarding, create, enable and disable an AutoResponder, set White and Black lists, all from the customer interface.
Make sure that you have SpamAssassin enabled for your mailbox and that the sensitivity level is not too high. For most people, the default setting of 5 is an adequate upper level. In addition, you can set your mailbox options so that messages labeled "[SPAM]" get moved to a separate folder on the mail server and do not get downloaded to your mail client. You can then periodically use the webmail interface to check for false positiives or just allow the automated cleanup functions on the server to delete the older messages. (Note that email left in the SPAM folder will be deleted after 7 days and the TRASH folder will be emptied after 2 hours.) If you do not wish to use the SPAM folder option with SpamAssassin, you should investigate the junk mail handling features for your email client. Depending on the mail client you may want to delete the items labeled "[SPAM]" or put those into a special folder on your computer to check later.
The support site for the specific email client is generally the best place to go for self-help. For instance, Outlook users will find all sorts of tips and troubleshooting hints if they explore the Microsoft Office site. In addition, the Microsoft Knowlege base documents common issues and Microsoft runs a news server with groups focused on specific topics where you can get help. Other vendors provide similar support alternatives.
