IPv6 is the newer version of IP addressing used on the Internet today. For the past 10 years, the great minds of connectivity have been planning this next generation of Internet, IPv6, and it’s becoming very significant in 2012.

While IPv6 has been commercially available since 2007, the majority of people using the Internet today have yet to realize its availability, let alone understand that they will soon need IPv6 to function normally on the Internet.
