DigitalBridge Communications tops the list with 159 applications for over a quarter billion in grants/loans. 158 applications cover 9 states with 69 in Tennessee and 33 in Mississippi. Other states are Idaho (8), Indiana (8), Missouri (1), Montana (19), Nebraska (3), Pennsylvania (1), and Virginia (16). The final application is called "The Rebate PC Bundle Project" for which they are asking $5.3 million.

Flow Mobile, out of Bismark, ND, is promising a "4G like" network to provide broadband in 10 states. Iowa (52), Oklahoma (18), Montanta (11), Nebraska (9), Wyoming (8), Arizona (5), South Dakota (4), New Mexico (4), and North Dakota (2). Interestingly the applications range in request amounts from $96,000 to $727,000 with the last request in North Dakota coming in at $29 million.

RADGOV leads the pack with close to $1.3 billion requested for 2 projects with a very aggressive plan for bringing Public Computer Center and Sustainable Broadband Adoption to most of the 50 states.

The next three are satellite providers and GlenMartin, a manufacturer of vertical support structures, rounds out the Top 5 with 24 applications and $412 million requested.

DigitalBridge shows up again at number 14.

DigitalBridge catapults Virginia to the top of the list of states by applications. Taking out DigitalBridge's 159 applications and Virginia still has a respectable 63 applications.

North Dakota comes in at number three, but the number is skewed by Flow Mobiles 113 applications submitted out of Bismark.
